Andrea has been an OT since 1989 and is specialized in neuromotor disorders in pediatrics. Her clinical experience comes from many years in interdisciplinary rehabilitation, early intervention and private practice, her ‘mission’ is to help children to participate the best possible way in their daily lives.
Andrea is teaching at several universities of Applied Sciences in Germany, works as head of training at Schuchmann Reha, gives talks and trainings internationally always promoting a coordinated and holistic approach that integrates techniques, therapies, medicine and pedagogy.
She wrote articles on sitting, standing and walking products - mainly using the ICF as a framework. Her aim is enhancing a child’s participation by coordinating the support given by different specialists.
